About Reza Rasouli

Reza Rasouli is a filmmaker, director, and screenwriter born in Mashhad, Iran. His passion for cinema and theater began at an early age, when he started experimenting with short film projects during his childhood. Since 2019, he has been living and working in Austria, where he continues to develop his creative voice.

Reza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Directing and is currently pursuing his Master’s at the prestigious Film Academy Vienna. His short films have been showcased at leading international festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs ShortFest, and Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia.

His work has also received critical acclaim and multiple awards, including honors from the Diagonale – Festival of Austrian Film, Max Ophüls Prize in Germany, Trieste Film Festival in Italy, and Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival, among others.
